Perfect up here TCG and perfect climate at 2400m elev. Friendly timezone too, Perth time when it shld be a coupla hours back (all of PRC is one single time zone), so permanent and long daylight saving hours all year round. I get up with the roosters looking at a 5600m ice capped peak in time for the Ozzie action, which is about to heat up again methinks. Yr spot at my table is always waiting for u TCG. Shangri-La (Zhongdien) is only 4 hours up the road at abt 3300 m elev, thru God's own spectacular country ... u just gotta avoid the crazy Tibetans in the way ... and U aint partied until you've partied at a Tibetan cabaret there ... only heating is what u generate inside, drinking the home brewed yak juice haha. They bring in the pig on the spit to ya whilst the gals are dancing and singing. next morn u can sober up, er repent, at the Buddhist temple on the hill ... second only in significance to Lhassa. Couldnt afford the med cruiser but this is affordable whilst they keep the RMB capped haha. C u at Ao Zhou Bu Luo (Australia House) / Lijiang-Shuhe in due course CG. We can trade the Ozzie market together before the local day's activities start ... very casual up here haha.
