I agree a takeover would be a good method for DP to cash out his large holding and without paying out the loan. DP stands to make millions by liquidating his shares at a higher sp.
In the event of a land sale however even with a large sp rerate, DP couldn't simply sell his entire holdings for multiple reasons. A takeover would also be a good exit opportunity for the rest of the top twenty as well who would likely be happy with a couple hundred percent return on investment.
I however don't think Continental would be interested in a full takeover as they likely only want the swish assets and likely wouldn't be interested in Bradbury.
Could be wrong who knows how things will pan out.
Still going to be a good result for us I wager.
