I take your point but what I'm saying is that the new investors believe that, at the time they did the deal, LML heads were worth 55c. Given that 15% of the existing shares on issue were placed increasing the issued shares to 115m I would envisage that they see the new shares being worth about 47c - 48c.
Their estimate of LML worth pre placement 100m@55c = $55m
It follows that each share is now worth (by their est) 47-48c
($55m/115m shares).
A bit simplistic perhaps but these people have a better insight as to the company's value than we do I would imagine.
