We are unlikely to get any specific understanding of the pricing for the installation of sensors, of any particular application, due to the implication for future negotiations with airlines. Thus a speculation of annual profit at this stage is analogous to pulling numbers out of a hat. What the P/E might be is again simply speculation.
I'm ultra-positive on the technology, and the likelihood of it being commercialised in the next months after FAA approval, but at this stage I'm happy to see it testing its all-time high of $3.00. That might take more than SMN finalising contracts with a few airlines beyond Delta.
Certainly if Boeing and/or Airbus sign up to have installations in new aircraft we are off to the races, and I'd imagine the share price will break new ground. But I seriously doubt a share price ever close to $18.00 (but I WANT to be wrong!).
