Why?
They signalled that they are moving forward and are close to announcing the next step with Saddle Hills:
- Finalising contracts for Siemens gas turbine and awaiting confirmation of delivery schedule.
Who would enter contracts with someone if they didn't think they can pay for the goods? Ie funding available.
I expect the only hold up with final funding/gas supply arrangements for SH is the decision on how to progress based on the draft regulations we are waiting for. Oh, and approval from the regulator to operate as a peaker.
Wouldn't be surprised to see the earthworks for the plant to commence before the end of the current quarter tbh.
