·“If you’ve got cars coming into a petrol station, they wouldstay for an average of five minutes.
·If you’ve got cars coming into an electric charging station, they would be at least 30 minutes, possibly an hour, but let’s say it’s just 30minutes.
·So that’s six times the surface area to park the carswhile they’re being charged.
·So, multiply every petrol station in a city by six.
·Where are you going to find the place to put them?”
Petrol stations are regulated by Govt for Safety reasons. There is no requirement for charging a car at a Service Station. It can happen anywhere. In fact the better spread aligns with Govt/Councils on building traffic infrastructure/ Traffic flow.
To imagine everyone will be pulling into a Service Station to recharge is not only preposterous its downright illogical. But it pretends to be a good argument. Or is it? Shows niavity on behalf of the writer.
