Exactly why do you think that? First mining in 2024 so I doubt much will happen prior to that. There may be a latent reacion to that gold hit though, can take weeks sometimes...takes time for the spruik tabloids,brokers, tweeters, etc to shout out the info.

What doesnt looks so good is the jurisdiction; Cuba is run by a Marxist dicator. Since the Castros are out of govt now, maybe the new guy Miguel Díaz-Canel will take a more moderate line. It looks like slowly the world is re engaging with Cuba, but it still has a bad human rights records, with many poltiical prisioners in jail, and strong suppression of free speeech, especially anyhting anti - govt. I guess this has all been discussed here before, but I couldnt find the discussion (if it exists).

Ive been in companies before based in the Carribean (Haiti) and its easy to get screwed by the govts in those countries. I see there is some argy bargy with the Dominion Republic? There you go...

I suppose you could say Cuba are no worse than China, and we're happy to do business with them? Ha ha.
