I sort of figured that, Bones, lol, but wasnt everything captured on cctv? Hasnt the "alleged" (unamed for legal reasons) murderer already appeared in court? The cameras recorded the time of the attack, the actual time of death could have been estimated with reasonable accuracy by a medical proffessional..... If the cameras showed some guy pulping Williams' skull with the bike frame, wouldnt that be reasonably assumed to be the cause of death? Sure a later post mortem would check for toxicology, bullet wounds, stab marks, etc.....but meantime? I fear the media, in their search for sensation-gathering prose sometimes doesnt paint a true picture.
And towie, re "You do not die becauseof head injuries"...sorry, mate, you can. a workmate of my wife was tapped on the head not too gently with an axe by her husband...she died INSTANTLY. A couple of friends died from gun-shot wounds to the head...instantly....another lost most of his head in a plane crash..instantly. I also know of other cases where life support was later switched off, as you say, but you CAN die instantly.
