Thing is about Fundamental Analysis has always stated about making your profit at the price you buy in not buying in at any old price or buying when the market is in a fomo frenzy.
BHP's fundamentals and cashflows are good but I'd be loathed to be paying the 5 year high price for it.
Some stock never reach their high's again. WGO peaked at 41c in 2019 plummeted for a couple of years in the low teens and only now is 36c after a takeover offer. Same thing could happen with MAY so your buy in price is critical to making anything off these oil and gas plays
