Sorry to say, but it seems unions have unfortunately had to become a necessary evil in wage negotiations with large corporations who essentially have endless funds and time to push back on workers.
Im not in favour of union tactics but I’m currently representing staff as just another worker in the only site of my company not represented by unions in some capacity.
The current outcome?
Sniggering from bosses telling us we may be lucky to get 10% over 3 years.
