    Much prefer your version but cant see it being a reality presently...more below...

    @samfiodiving
    Unfortunate you found it condescending. Perhaps for a moment put yourself in the shoes of anyone who was at that event with funds to splash around... Dozens of promising presentations and meetings with a gazillion companies all telling you they are the next big thing with science and studies and data to support the sale or partnering process.
    You've likely taken the intern along, great experience for them and you reduce the meetings so you can focus on some medium fish you had an eye on. The conversations are real and if an up and comer really make an impression and have a product that aligns with your strategic plan, you might give a battler a go and add it to a shortlist for the intern to look into back at the office.... So you go back and look a bit deeper.
    From all of that can you impartially and honestly say ANP would finish on top right now?

    I cant, and I see the operational issues at the core of my inability to see investment (including my own) coming. As @arjay said the roi just isnt as rock solid as it would need to be to take this to leadership in such a scenario. You may think $8.0m is a pittance but companies still need to invest wisely and show good governance so the amount is irrelevant if it doesn't match the strat plan and the risk guidelines the employees have to play by. The intern doesn't get the whole bag to play with, each area would have amounts relevant to them and these usually need to be adhered to so you can sate the street. So a big deal, medium deal, small deal bucket and so on.

    So what could they do?
    IMV it would seem that they are not leveraging the biggest funding resource they have in a proactive way but the reference to a "covert" visit you made may be a clue they are trying to.
    GP will have connections who have connections back to VC companies and even wealthy individuals who need a riskier cornerstone opportunity in a beaten down sector.
    If I were AF I would be all over GP to help set up some meet and greets with these people. Sure present at the shows where the get some airtime until they have all the boxes tipped to do a deal at a trade show, but in the meantime if its funding you want, the informal "I know someone who might be interested, let me set something up for you" method is the only thing that will fly right now...... I reckon CG would have some contacts who could connect him to US money too. Forget the nasdaq, ANP would get torn to bits in its present state and CG knows this.

    There's an entry price to the above though. Any HNW or VC is going to do some due diligence on whether the company has the training wheels off and does the basics well. ANP haven't paid the price of entry yet and from my perspective it would make AF's role pretty hard. You can draw your own conclusions as to why none of the companies ANP pays to paint them in a good light will put their money in. How many shares has AF bought?
    If you want to have so many shots at goal resource it properly. People with money to invest couldn't give a rats that you go this far with only a few people. They would want to see a solid and reliable plan that has a high probability of getting to the goal.

    Science is good but.

    GLAH DYOR and have fun. Always great conversation and mass debate on the ANP thread. Do enjoy reading your perspective @samfiodiving and the effort you put in.
