firstly, there arent that many shorts open, certainly they dont have the power to reduce the SP by 60% when 46m shares just got taken by the URA ETF, at most there is what like 1% of shares shorted? im going off what ive heard here, shortman shows 0% so..? secondly, there are 2 significant events in the next 2 months, people wanting to make quick trading money on this should just buy and wait for offtake and finance then sell on that news rather than spend all their time trying desperately to manipulate through shorts when either of those could come out tomorrow and smoke them trying to short ASN down to a technical gap when 2 significant financial derisking events are happening in the next 56 days is like trying to hit your cars top speed in reverse, noone who talks about gaps ever whats to talk about the gaps we left on the way down
