Yeah but that was pre-open, it still goes in for whatever the ask price is, which is 0.3.
Brokers usually put in a ridiculously high limit price such as 1.3 to ensure that their order is in the front.
And it was just 1.3m shares, so no way it would have filled at 1.3 as there were 12m already at 0.3.
This broker got his fill at 0.3 with certainty before everyone else.
Smart but common move, if you see the depth now, you cannot buy it at 0.3 no more, the ask price is 0.4.
