I agree. We had the consolidations (1:1000) to 'not look like a penny dreadful'.
Now we are facing the same problem from the other end.....At current levels, a MC of the 'billions' that some have proposed would require a SP of several hundred dollars. And while the value of the company may be unchanged, the image a SP of several hundred dollars may not sit well with some....for example - it could be the most expensive share on the market - well above CBA, COH etc.
Maybe a reverse consolidation (10:1) isnt such a silly idea and more chance of reaching the dizzying heights we all hope the SP will reach.
