The back-pedalling with claims about trying to calculate other volumes etc is not true and you know that!!
The giveaway was the statement "

You thought you had a "gotcha" moment, and then when it was pointed out that you made a silly error, you invented a story about calculating a different stage of the flow!
... and to top it off, you then focussed on the 40-odd GL number, as still being "far less" than 61GL, but again failed to incorporate a suitable recovery factor for the entire brine-to-carb process.
Accept it, admit it and move forward!
You can't always claim these other guys are "making up" numbers and using "random figures" etc, when afaict they seem to be doing a pretty good job - generally - of actually trying to evaluate what is going on and what might happen, based on the various scraps of info that the company chooses to share.

So, you have estimated that circa 3GLpa of water is the "product stream" from the Lilac plant. So what? What "narrative" doesn't that fit?
The point was that a 50ktpa LCE operation appears to require circa 60GL of brine extraction per year, and almost all of that being re-injected. The questions/concerns/issues raised, afaict, were regarding how exactly that might be achieved, and what sort of wellfields etc might need to be built.
Why can't those topics be addressed and discussed, using the relevant available info, where possible, and other examples/precedents or reasonable estimates where not..?
Some people actually want to preempt the outcomes, to some extent, so they might be able to identify a superior investment entry point, if indeed that does/will exist. Saying "just wait and see" and deflecting everything critical as simply being FUD is a bit amateur-hour, imo.
