If there is a "cult stock" aspect, there is certainly the opposite of that present, that being a greater than average compenent of non holders who spend their precious seconds on this Earth (and some relishing) any hurdles the a company faces. Of course people are defensive towards what is either the:

- I was right all along brigade.
- Potentially bad actors.
- Those who for some reason find enjoyment in the negatives.

All of whom existed at 5c, departed on the run up to 1.30 and returned from the shadows after suspension. Of course this manifests in derision.
