    Hi Parma …. I would be surprised if Jules wanted it … initially because it’s kind of remote and because that story suggested Acciona was the most likely partner for the project (more on that https://cloughgroup.com/projects/energyconnect)

    ..and now because I just read in the AFR a story from December 6, which says;
    https://www.afr. com/companies/energy/clough-collapse-threatens-10b-of-energy-transition-projects-20221206-p5c41s
    .. “At TransGrid, which owns the NSW part of Project EnergyConnect, executive general manager of major projects Gordon Taylor said Clough’s partner for construction, Elecnor, had already taken measures to allow it to continue with construction.
    “Transgrid is confident Elecnor remains very engaged on EnergyConnect and each organisation has been preparing for this situation for some time now,” Mr Taylor said, reiterating the current completion deadline of late 2024.
    He said Elecnor had also confirmed its desire to take over the staff working for the joint venture with Clough.”..

    …Reinforced here (06/12/22);
    https://www.naturalgasworld.com/aus...s-more-than-8-bln-of-projects-in-limbo-102465
    … “Another major project involving Clough is a 900 kilometre power transmission line, EnergyConnect, owned by TransGrid, essential for hooking new solar and wind farms to the grid.
    TransGrid said it would continue to work with Clough's partner Elecnor to deliver the A$2.3 billion project.
    "We expect to meet the current completion deadline of late 2024," TransGrid executive general manager Gordon Taylor said in emailed comments.”

    … Maybe Elecnor wants to do it all itself now?

    I had wondered of parts of Perdaman Urea plant or even the Waitsia gas might come to us ..
    But no matter
    I am sure there’s more than enough work for many years ahead and have been lately thinking that maybe it’s a good idea to invest some of our savings in more new automated and robot equipment rather than any existing business acquisition so as to minimise human expenses and take pressure off in this constrained labour market.
    It seems kind of logical?

    cheers
