    An interesting thread here…

    I’m looking at which of the majors, with an appetite for large acquisitions, kept the powder dry in the lastest Qtr earnings. Although these are ongoing, I note that Exxon and Shell only announced modest shareholder feasts. Chevron and ConocoPhillips gorged themselves. Waiting on Total and BP although don’t see BP as a contender for anything.

    Exxon, Shell or Total could be the only possibles for me although I don’t believe anyone would get FIRB approvals, particularly in this environment. I’d be glad to be proven wrong!

    Do you think the STO Board realise their vulnerability ?
