The basic problem is that our tax system is a dogs breakfast, firstly all the BIG business which does not pay any tax for various reasons should have at least a 10% tax put on their turnover, no exemptions
Then with income guaranteed they can systematically go about fixing the system
They need to do the same with all the various types of government payments (inc O.A.Pensions)
I know millionaires who get part pensions, and the ceiling figure where you start to pay tax should be very much higher
I like the 20 years at least working in Australia as a citizen as a minimum to get an OAP
At the basis is the fact that any civilized country should have public transport, health, education and aged pensions paid for by the government
It can be done just a few less obscenely rich people around
