    SYDNEY (Dow Jones)--Australia's Federal Court said Friday it would allow CSR Ltd.'s (CSR.AU) appeal of a court judgement that had blocked the company's planned demerger of its sugar business.

    The court said the planned demerger could now be put to a meeting of shareholders.

    CSR immediately welcomed the decision.
