Probably not the best day to release it either, with price of golds big drop in the US on Friday. Announcements like this will obviously get rid of a lot of the dead wood. Those who wanted big short term spikes in the share price and investors not looking long term. This is good imo, makes the register more tight in the long term. Personally, as a long term holder I am happy with the progress. The priority is clearly getting to production as quickly as possible, this can only be done with a scoping study and mining grant. The resource upgrades to 8-10moz will eventually come but they will be a few quarters later than expected due to this new focus. The current quarter will see more of those areas adding to the oz’s getting drilled out.

It will be good for any investors who have been waiting for a major dip, to get involved now. I do know a lot of friends who have woken up to gold, in the past few months but saw many companies already break out. PDI is definitely one which now looks fantastic as an entry imo, especially as the gold price is likely to head back up towards $2000usd in the near term, as economic conditions continue to deteriorate.
