Yosef - Lindsay Tanner was interviewed by Tony Jones late last night on the ABC; One of the main points I got from the interview was that while the Henry review has made recommendations, not all will be implemented; an example Tanner used was negative gearing on housing; he said removing that would cause house values to plummet; he also mentioned how a resource tax would discriminate against WA as a state; so it is really a case of wait and see.
With HUN, coal is in Mongolia so I'm guessing the tax wouldn't apply anyway. Cheers F
