@shawna - everyone deserves to be treated with respect. It does not cost anything to be polite - you can still put your point of view - it's when you feel aggro and get rude yourself, that's when you have to examine your own stance - and maybe - read over your message again before pressing 'reply'

I recently experienced what I thought was a friend, in that state - he is an anti-vaccer or doubter, or whatever you want to call yourselves - I didn't know - he invited me to his wife's 70th birthday - I was thrilled and said yes, forgetting I did already have an invite -

Then he began telling me how people he went to work for shrank from him, every time he told them he hadn't been vaccinated. He is a contractor, does things 'about the house' mostly outside, but needs to negotiate, talk etc. with the clients - he is fit and healthy and we live in a fairly isolated suburb - so

I wasn't afraid of him, but understood why people would wish to keep him outside, rather than invite him in.

    He simply did not understand.

I was then unable to attend the celebration, not because I was afraid, but had had a long-standing prior arrangement to spend a birthday with a long-time friend in the country, which I had forgotten about when talking to this man.

I am now almost afraid to bump into him and his wife (we share the same shopping center) - not because I am afraid of catching something off him, but because he has that militant attitude and gets into a real stew about it.

You people are like this on here - please spare a thought about 'normal social intercourse and what people expect from each other.
    Stay well
