Another Verbose response I can not see ! I will keep my reply simple.
Basket Value is not a measure of a deposits comparative worth in any form. Industry standards use "Equivalent grade" for multi element deposits, Basket price merely indicates a relative unit value of the end unrefined product and has no real bearing to a Deposits true economic viability !
Eg: Take two similar sized (200Mt) deposits, the firs with just 10ppm Tb, it would only have an In-situ value of $20/t but will show a Basket Value of $2,000/kg, While the second deposit with 1,000ppm of Nd would have an In-Situ value of $116/t andt a Basket Value of only $116/kg. Yet the first deposit would be barely economic while the second would certainly be worth developing ! Basket Price clearly has no bearing on a Deposits actual value or potential worth.
