It is weird that they submitted this notice of intention to accept the Hancock offer. Why not just fill out a form accepting the Hancock offer for all shares that they currently have and announcing that they’ve done it? What are they achieving by telling everyone that they intend to do it some time later?
Even if they wanted to mop up more shares over the next few days, they could continue to do that, then roll these into the Hancock cash offer as a second tranche after their offer closes on the 13th.
Or just not say anything and make this announcement when they take up the Hancock offer sometime between the 14th and the 24th.
