You need to understand what I wrote about a few weeks ago. $QAN is enjoying short term cashflow boosts from pent up demand after lockdowns, which is fading, and from not spending anything on new planes of capex, which is why its planes and reliability are suffering and service standards are going down the drain. This is absolutely unsustainable.
Moving forward, interest rate hikes are denting retail spending hard and will lead to recession. And when Qantas FINALLY do get around to their overdue capex spending it'll be at higher interest rates. Think ahead.
