Because you do more drilling, spend more exploration dollars but the effect is to gain more knowledge and accuracy which allows you to move more from resource to reserve. Kind of an inverse effect.
You could flip the whole graph over if you wanted the arrows of the axes to go the way you are more familiar with.
I'm really glad you're thinking about it/eager to learn.
