Which Gov is going to TAX the crap out of Petrol ? how long do you think that Gov will stay in power ?
Taxing the crap out of petrol disproportionately affects poorer people ... the same people that cannot afford the more expensive to purchase EV's.
Transition like this does not happen overnight ... unless $22k EV's with decent range are just around the corner ?
And we are not about to run out of oil any time soon .... you just made that up.
