With all due respect James, you have no idea what you're on about.

If you think Odey have taken a position to trade the "wild swings", go short, or orchestrate some sort of pump and dump, then I'm sorry but you have no clue!!.

This is not your average substantial holder notice mate.

You say "Hedge funds do not make money just buying stocks"

Well that is EXACTLY what Odey are doing in this case!!.

Odey have specifically taken a position in ESS to hold (and sell for a profit) as part of the takeover play under way.

Perhaps do some more research before poking your nose into a stock you don't hold and have never posted on - which is a bit suspect in itself!!.

But by all means James - why don't you try and "trade it". Watch the massive and volatile price action and wild swings between 50 and 51 cents!!
