Best grab takeaway I took from it was the below graph. If I interpret it correctly, it is showing this lithium air solid state battery research indicates possibility of energy density in future lithium battery pretty much on par with gasoline energy density. So battery pack weight of about equivalent to mass of petrol in car giving same range as that petrol (but I suspect that doesn’t take into account reduced mass of car in EV format given less mechanical equipment required and thus potentially a greater “distance density” when applied to a vehicle. Now let’s consider what that could mean say in air transport …
