Fact is, SPT has fallen away from $1.50 to where it is now and if it fell to the big zero, there would not be much in it for them, to so you are right that the risk is potentially greater than the reward. You referred to Zip - you will see shortly that shorts will kick in again, despite their fallen price - like many other participants they risk running out of cash to run their operations in the absence of the elusive profitability.
