AIS - EW Chart, page-1701

I'm on this thread because I'm interested in AIS prospects as one of a small number of pure play Copper producers (hence my Buy sentiment although I'm still working through what I expect to be a good entry price).

I'm already heavily invested in BHP so my interest in AIS is to potentially skew my portfolio further towards Copper.

The problem is that trying to time one's entry to specific commodities can be devilishly difficult to time. So many variables (and these are before any Black Swan events like COVID):

Commodity Price
Production Profile and mine life
Exploration risk
Management competence
Market Sentiment
Geopolitical (China opening/closing/boycotting, Peru production expansion or strikes etc.).

And then the commodity demand/supply forecasts have so many assumptions and that's before one considers whether they're genuine or just pushing a line to support their investment positions. Personally I reckon most are the latter, I wouldn't trust most US investment banks with my cash to pick up milk for me at the local IGA.

But Copper supply is going to become constrained at some point so I'm interested in AIS. Just not sure I want to enter right now although I've definitely considered it. So if you've got a comment on Copper supply or any of the above regarding AIS I'd love to hear it.

But pretty sure everyone else would prefer us to take any politically charged comments elsewhere. So I'm interested in AIS, you're clearly interested in pushing something else totally unrelated to AIS.

So, any comments on AIS prospects (that aren't tissue paper for comments on something else)? I'm genuinely interested.
