Is it worked out at an average though?
For example if the market sees the pre-opening at 9.6 and a buyer is dead keen on getting into the stock and puts his order in at 10c and the seller is equally as keen to get out of the stock and put his stock up for 6.6c then the transaction goes through at 8.3c (1.7c above and below both prices)?
It wouldn't seem the case because as you said earlier, nothing went through under 9.6c...
It just doesn't make sense to me either way someone can push themselves ahead of the queue.
