I’m always open minded about a recession but they’d have to be crazy to keep going much further. Retail demand is already coming off and inflation appears to be trending down while the impact of earlier interest rate rises is yet to be measured. Any more than one (maximum 2) more 0.25s and the RBA will drive us into the ditch. Blind Freddy can see it. If I were the Guv I’d be jawboning higher interest rates but putting away the big stick at this point.
But thinking about it yeah maybe you’re right. They probably will totally drive us all into the ditch
