Interesting to note that here in Victoria, two fellows have taken the Victorian Government to the Supreme Court. They have done so in the belief that the State Government has no right to charge them two cents a kilometre for electric car usage as they claim it is an "excise' and only the Federal Government has the power to charge an excise under the Constitution.
