CMC markets allows buys and sells to be placed at any level irrespective of the ask/bid.
As widely used as comsec is, I wasn't a fan of that rule, the amounts that they charged for brokerage, charting software or the research available (outdated). I still keep my account for the useful daily data but nothing more.
