I',m been concerned for quite a while about the continuous negative reporting in the West Australian about FMG/FFI, it's crap and I have mentioned it a few times before but its getting worse. I heard an Andrew Forest very brief radio interview on 6pr this morning and it sort of clarified the problem.
Kerry Stokes (who I also really admire) owns the West and also Westrac, the CAT dealer for WA. BHP are Cat, not sure about RIO.
FMG are Komatsu for haulpacks etc. Sounds like Stokes is pissed off with FMG for not buying CAT.
If this is the problem, am not very happy with Stokes organisation tbh.
Anyone else has an insight into this relationship?
