i find CFDs very similar to shares

I NEVER over-extend by much even tho its tempting coz its leveraged

thats the key - just trade more or less the SAME quantities as you did with normal shares!

I only look to make a few hundred bucks per trade

Ill buy a stock thats oversold and wait till it comes back up from the oversold condition

I trade mostly good quality stocks with good reports and good fundamentals like all the defensives and BHP

Defensives are the BEST to trade as they all have very certain or mORE certain trading ranges in between reporting seasons

YOU cant go wrong trading in and out od COCA-COLA (CCL) for example; Buy when oversold or near support, and sell close to or at resistence.

Ansell is another one with a history of OBVIOIUS trading ranges (altho its not as liquid as CCL)

JB HI FI is another one i trade within the range

QBE another with good Fundamentals; WOW another; Believe it or not, but CPU is also good with nice ranges as is BBG; UGL also good Fundamentals and decent ranges.

I never trade stocks that have had bad reports or bad FA

The defensives dont go down by much during corrections, sometiems they go up. Just have a STOP in place at critical key support levels that might be hit on massive corrections.

Boring trading style, but you make the dosh.

Also, dont trade in high frequency!

LET THE MARKET COME TO YOU, dont trade unless you have to; Wait for good opps, and when they come, get in and ride the oversold into resistence

    Boring but effective

Low risk high probability trading on stocks with good FA and obviuos tradign ranges - coca cola is the best as its range is certain , and it always has a 'range' between reportign seasons; Ansell is another classic with a trading range that doesnt change much between reporting seasons. Ride em up and u can even short them back down (even tho i dont short stocks with good fundamentals as they can and will break out to the upside on an upward moving market thats in recovery)
