Neuren filed patent applications for both its Compositions of Trofinetide and Methods and Compositions for Treatment of Rett Syndrome in China in 2020, so there would appear to be intention to market trofinetide in China.
On the subject of patents, Acadia filed a new patent application, Crystalline Forms of Trofinetide in late January, claiming a crystalline form of trofinetide that can be dissolved in water. This is said to be a more chemically stable solid form of trofinetide.
