Dachopper has not be extensive in his replies. He has not acknowledged three sentences from three MSB documents are MSB statements. He has spun, he has deflected, he has mixed up citations with quotations. But what he has not done is acknowledge the simple fact that what MSB has said, they have said.

And you praising him up and others ticking him for his patience is more likely to be encouraging him not to acknowledge those facts. You are creating for him a warm community embrace of collective denial.

If you or any of those ticking your sentiment towards moving on want to move on - then maybe help Dachopper see that what MSB have said they have actually said. I'm running out of ways to make the same basic point - and I want to move on.

I do not want Dachopper to say he agrees simply to change the subject - I respect him too much for that. He should not state agreement if he doesn't agree. But he should agree and you should agree and pretty much anyone that knows what a fact is should agree that what MSB has said, specifically the three statements, they have said.

So maybe take a minute of two out of your day to examine, to chose one of the three examples I've given - this statement made by Kasikis et al 2021 for instance

"In vitro, MSCs have several immunological properties properties and reduce the secretion of inflammatory cytokines such as INFy and TNFa by alloreactive T cells [8]"

And say something like well you know Dachopper that is actually Mesoblast saying that. That's just a fact - why don't you acknowledge that and let us move on.

Otherwise its like you are acting like a crowd at a sporting match where your player can do absolutely no wrong and so the umpire must be wrong for not being biased to your player (or an opposing player that got pushed in the back must have dived) and the universe itself must be wrong (how dare the wind gust like that and spoil a shot) as well if it doesn't favour such a fine fellow as your teams most marvelous and most patient player.

The acceptance of the BLA resubmission is the only thing on anyone's minds right now, per the title of this thread.You can't know what is on everyone's mind. And acceptance of the BLA resubmission is actually not the title of the thread. You are presuming to speak for everyone.

many of us don't want an echo chamberThen as one of the many either move yourself (change the channel for more entertaining stuff - I didn't demand you reply to me and anyone can read around me - don't even open the post if you don't want - and dachopper could stop saying things that are not so) or recognize that the repetition is because two people are disagreeing over whether a fact is a fact and check out whether it is a fact and speak to that to the person you disagree with. Then the echo will at least be coming from a different direction - and maybe you can help break an apparent impasse.

Get Dachopper to acknowledge the fact that Mesoblasts written statements are their statements and the echo will change. Stop trying to advise me or reply to me (or don't) and it will change. Get involved in the substance (consider for yourself what have mesoblast actually said on INF gamma and what have they not said) and the echo will change.

Mesoblasts statements are of course their own statements, whether they be about other peoples' scientific work, or their very own scientific work, or any topic.
