In response to your questions @Jakjazz :

1. Unknown. Dr. Kim mentioned that the scans are sent to a location in Homebush for interpretation and they report back. They are forwarded online so assume that it's a matter of when it gets to the top of the pile. I forgot to ask about the bloods but they need to be physically sent away and I'm not sure where or how far away they have to go.

2. RA put me on to Dr. Kim after my initial contact with him enquiring about the trial. Since then Kim has always been open to me contacting him. I felt embarrassed that I would be taking up his time with phone calls! Kim suggested a link-up with Roger as I'd put forward a couple of suggestions to Kim about ways to get the message out. The meeting was held last night but unfortunately Roger had to withdraw.

3. So I always feed Bella in the morning around 5.30 am. Only because she stands next to my bed and bangs her tail louder and louder against the wall until I get up and feed her! That dog has an in-built alarm clock! The tablets need to go in within one hour of her main meal of the day so I always give them to her 30 minutes after her brekky. She lets me open her mouth and point her head upwards. I put the tablets as far back as I can and then close her mouth. She swallows them or sometimes she has one or two chews and they're gone.

She gets the most nourishing and healthy food in the household! It's a high protein/low carb diet due to the fact that carbs feed the cancer. I cook up: extra virgin oil (olive or coconut), minced chicken, minced turkey, carrots, zucchini, peas, a tin of tuna, sweet potato, boiled eggs, ginger and turmeric. It's made in bulk so it can feed her for two weeks at a time. I top it with either a raw egg (including the shell which she eats) or a tin of sardines in oil.
