I’m simply questioning the market perception on when a company pays a large dividends for some reasons the market does not view it as a quality of strength of that company
Yet when we hear the words BB subliminally it engender a perception of strength…this to me is theoretical messaging whilst a dividend is tangible evidence.
Some poster’s may counter my argument that dividends can be paid from debt -I believe TLS did in the past.
I’m not sure if borrowed money can be used for BB purposes!
