The local council is split on what to do in regards to allowing camps in town , I have little doubt that POS could build one onsite and get approval but my annoyance with managment is they should have already sort permission weather going ahead or not as it will become another excuse to wait a year.
The trouble with allowing workers camps in town is we are a boom bust town and these camps will compete in down times with the local hotel indusrty , so far council has approved a couple but subject to only getting two year approvals , after two years council will decide weather to approve for another two years , so far know one has gone ahead and built instead brought out caravan parks as are already zoned correctly and a should add these camps are for the housing of their own employees only.
