I have the max and have tried to use them in a social setting ie restaurant to improve hearing. I don't think these are products for all day rather specific situations.
the problem with the in-ear hearing aids is actually the effect it has on your speech. I began to talk very softly cause I felt I was yelling and people around me couldn't hear what I was saying. That was really embarrassing.
wearing ear buds has become so socially acceptable that it isn't an issue. Although a slicker design could really benefit and perhaps with one chip instead of four that might be coming.
I see more of an issue is to get people to see the need. The Bluetooth tv thing never took off because what generally happens if you can't hear the tv? You turn the volume up. Oh but what about other family members? They are generally watching their own screen. The point is with that device nuh tried to make a market that wasn't needed.
this is why the most important avenue for sale will be in store. Audiologists or normal retail you'll need someone to push the product and then hope the product is good enough for word of mouth.... problem is you need time for word of mouth and Nuheara doesn't have the cash for a great deal of time. Why? Because they can't/couldn't sell max!
