    That is not correct, these are 2 different markets. The Max competed in the consumer bud space. While they had specific features, there was no real differentiation or brand awareness. To most they were just another set of buds. The OTC space is very different both online and bricks and mortar. All the distributors are setting up shop fronts for the OTC hearing aids. Its a big deal in the US , but invisible here in Australia. NUH/HP Pro is currently the only product the meets the in store sales classification. The distributors are in effect providing the shop fronts, which provides a ready avenue. The competition is limited as opposed to the consumer market which has countless competitors. Brand awareness is no longer an issue as they are under the HP banner. Whether they sold the max has zero relevance to the OTC space. And no doubt they may well do other white label OEMS. Its completely different.
