Much more familiar with Ganfeng as securing Lithium sources for their own supply to refine. CATL is more battery manufacturing but also getting into mining (such as oin Boliva beine and Chinese clays). They also supply TSLA with batteries in China mkt. CATL offering discounts to select few

So more about pricing EVs in China market and what profit to whom. Let them run their command economy and leave the free market to us. Ford is probably wondering why they are in bed with CATL at all.
