You're not answering the obvious question, what leader do you know that welcomed his closest enemy represented right on his border?
The more you don't answer and go on instead about Putin's response, the more I realise you know of no leader who wouldn't see an enemy at the border as a threat even when a towering "intelect" like you thinks they're the good guys.
