Never say never.
It's a Cu mine. I suspect people will be grabbing Cu form everywhere, even our homes plumbing when on holidays, when the pinch gets bad. They did that for new unattended homes last time.
I think the are going to re- engineer the shaft to optimise mining tonnes.
All IMVHO.
PS the safety standards are much higher now than in 2012 . however, who's to say what happens when there is a Cu rush akin to a gold rush. (I'm sure the inclusion of more females will change everything.)
