    Right now? Not really. They're still a relative newcomer and as such, prices are still high. Early adopter tax and all that. But I can guarantee the exact same arguments were made against the Model T. And look at where we are- pretty much anybody can afford a motor vehicle.

    ICE engines don't last forever either. Almost all cars after 10 to 15 years will need a fair amount of work done on the engine- and in many cases, it simply isn't worth it to repair it. And so the car goes to the scrapheap.
