BH would have known they wouldn't be supplying services for the next well well before the end of Mukuyu-1. In that situation a service company usually goes into total "I don't care" mode and the rig side supervisors start chalk marking the wall beside their bunks with number of days till the service company departs.

Yes..of course the search for an alternative service supplier would have started well before the last BH kit was demobbed from the rig. Yes..SM and the rest of the whole oil patch is well aware of the current state of the industry in regards to availability of service companies and level of service. As Ive noted elsewhere..it's an event that repeats every time things pick up after a downturn....and its a situation the industry has brought onto itself.
